The site sets out to create an unique and independent identity rather than MTVonline, and the site experiments on the web with music, and the music industry. The site contains 5 main sections the Community, MTV Fantasy Bands, Artist Archive, 3D Mixer and The Channel. The site graphics, designed by Oyster, use a variety of design styles to help create MTV's 'new vision'. Technically the site uses multiple live feeds and complete user tracking to achieve some of the most advanced functionality on the web." New Media Age Site description: "This site sets out to be The New Media Channel, for the UK and Europe, a focal point for up to the minute industry news, jobs and trends. Based on The National Geographic Society site concept of creating bolt on modules, the site currently has four distinctively differently designed areas, held together with a roaming navigation system. The design is youthful and energetic, and aims to reflect the vitality and excitement that exists within the New Media industry." Unilever HHC | intranet Site description: "Household Care is one of the main divisions within Unilever. The goal of this intranet is to create a new standard of communication in speed, quality and reach, helping HHC managers to be more effective, using quickly retrievable and personalised information. The site uses next generation technology, including HTML 4.0, Dynamic HTML, intelligent personal agents, open news publishing systems and desktop interfaces into document management databases. The site not only changes the way people work, but also empowers every memeber of HHC to contribute to the knowledge base of the entire division."
